The Google search for a cure
A quick Google search reveals a bounty of sex toys, instructional videos, 7-step exercises, traction devices, pills, creams, lotions, lubricating massage oils. These are usually accompanied by long, long sales letters that sell and re-sell the benefits.
If the element of sexual prowess is lacking in a man, it is sorely missed. It becomes a psychological millstone, heavy to shift, difficult to remove. Lack of sexual prowess can cause severe damage to a man's self-confidence, self-esteem and cause considerable damage to his relationships.
To improve performance in bed, men have tried many therapies and enhancers they would not normally consider. Many of them have not been clinically tested or even backed by any research data, but that doesn’t prevent the website from pushing the product to the max.
Many of these treatments are available without a prescription and originate from China, South America or Southern Europe. Many are a combination of various ingredients like horny goat weed which is considered to trigger testosterone; the male hormone which increases sex urge and improves performance. Then there are seed extracts which reduce sperm mortality and delay ejaculation.
Gingko is another popular, suitably expensive remedy. Gingko improves blood circulation and enhances erection and Asian red ginseng is a proven aphrodisiac going back centuries.
Saw palmetto, bark extracts and Hawthorne berries are other ingredients of such over-the-counter male sexual enhancement products which are time-tested and well known aphrodisiacs. Along with erectile creams, potions, pills and lotions, this is one area of marketing where a reassuringly high price boosts confidence even if it fails to boost anything else.
